The mother of the bride is very happy (so is the father and the brothers, sisters in law, nieces, friends, etc..)
Adina and Jono worked late into the night making these delicious gingerbread cookies (including a special train and teddy bear!) Quite yummy with coffee!
So the breakfast casserole was a hit (even though it had VEGGIE SAUSAGE!!) The general consensus was that it was pretty darn good for not being "real" meat! I found the recipe at one of my favorite Web sites: Our Best Bites.
Chloe was so excited about her present from Santa! He knew she'd love a meaty bone (AND that it would keep her busy while we opened OUR presents!)
The kitties got a play toy that they could crawl inside. They were as excited as cats can get - which is not rather but....
Adina and Jono liked the presents we bought them...
...and Ryan liked his "laptop" for his laptop! It has a cup holder and a little light to shine on his computer.
And Grandma loved, LOved, LOVed, LOVEd, LOVED her Minnie Mouse slippers!!
Grandpa went nuts for his humongous jar of pistachios!
Miss Sarah loves her new WHITE Vans....her other ones ain't so white anymore....
And I LOVED the gorgeous clothes that Ryan and Sarah picked out (okay well, Sarah picked them out but Ryan paid for them so....)
Ryan got a new Star Wars Lego set (let's hope the kitties don't send the finished product into oblivion like they did the other set......)
Travel mugs for the travelers!
Adina received new shoes from Damien. Adina's starting an apprenticeship program to become a hair stylist and she needs shoes that give her some height but are still comfortable. These fit the bill!
Sarah got some lovely clothes and jewelry from American Eagle, thanks to Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Adina!
Teddy found the wrapping paper quite entertaining! This was his first Christmas and he didn't want to miss out on anything!
Norah thought the ribbon was much more entertaining!
Hoops and YoYo crack us all up!

Well, our appetizers looked like this for about five seconds and then they were gone! The artichoke dip and sun-dried tomato spread was a hit and it made me happy to see how much it was enjoyed!
I love having a bowl of ornaments - I mean not as an appetizer, of course!
Terry sent us a gift basket from Harry and David. Can you say "mmmm...Moose Munch!" And Sarah gets to go shopping at Old Navy.
Dan sent us chocolate and a gift card to Chili's or Macaroni Grill! Decisions, decisions - and a yummy one at that!
And no get together is complete without a Wii game or two, or three, or nine..... Santa brought Grandma and Grandpa their very own Wii! We also introduced Grandma to Wii Fit...that may be next on the ol' shopping list!
And since the Wii can completely exhaust and make one quite famished...dinner was served! We had ham (well, they had ham...) mashed potatoes, deviled eggs, vegetables and Grandma's legendary broccoli casserole which Sarah made all by herself!
After dinner, Boris asked if we could get the fireplace going! I mean for goodness sake, it was like 50 degrees outside! Brr....
So Ryan agreed....
And since we've entered the 21st century and now have cable, we took advantage of the movies on demand to watch "Up"! What a sweet movie!
